Bio:
Annabelle Katswell, who prefers to be called "Annie," grew up in a settlement which will become Catsville, Colorado, working as a cattle farmer with her family. Her family raised the finest cattle for milk, and were the highest paid distributors of dairy products in the West. However, their finances were a bit on the wonky side, and things got worse when a greedy owner of an oil company named Tucker Mustafa threatened to shut down their farm because it was believed to have oil underneath it. But, after plowing the fields one day, Annie's dad seemingly struck the oil well Tucker was talking about, but they decided to claim it for themselves, and had more than enough money to pay their finances.
But, Tucker didn't take it to well, and found there was another source of oil located underneath the neighboring town of Duck Ridge. So, he turned to a life of crime under the name "Scarface Tucker," gathered a gang of hyena outlaws, and rode into Duck Ridge in hopes of driving the people out. During the attack, the town's sheriff was murdered, and the mayor of Duck Ridge decided to fight back with a new sheriff. But, rather than get their own men killed, the townspeople decided to ask Catsville to send them a sheriff. But, once Annie heard the news that Duck Ridge was looking for a new sheriff, she decided to sign up because she was confident that she'll teach Tucker another lesson with messing with those less fortunate.
Upon her arrival in Duck Ridge, the citizens of Duck Ridge were in shock and disgust that a female was going to be sheriff since it was never done before. But, once she took some law enforcement lessons from an old longhorn named Sheriff T-Bone, such as lassoing, shooting, and horseback-riding, Annie more than shattered their expectations, and became just as tough as the town's previous sheriff. So, when the time came to face Tucker, Annie decided that the best way to beat him was to use outlaws against him. So, she gathered the outlaws that resided in Duck Ridge's jailhouse, and offered them pardons if they would help her drive Tucker's gang out of town. When Tucker came to face Annie one on one, he decided to ambush her with his gang, but Annie was anticipating that, and sicked her own posse on them as well. After Tucker and his gang were driven out of town, Annie decided to stay in Duck Ridge, and protect the town from all outlaws and corrupt businessmen with her posse.
Annie would then meet her descendent, Kitty Katswell, and her "posse" as she called them, Team Katswell, when they went back in time to stop Jack Rabbit's henchman, Cyberscorp, from stealing her DNA, and giving it to Jack. He did so by becoming a new outlaw that uses strange technology that no one in the West ever saw before. He used his 21st century technology to rob banks, trains, and stagecoaches to draw out Annie, and once Team Katswell found out what's happened to her, they learned that Cyberscorp sent her to perform in a local circus as a clown, complete with ridiculous outfit. So, upon her rescue, Annie told Kitty and the others that Cyberscorp is planning to pull the biggest heist the West has ever seen: robbing the Stagecoach of Allison's great-great-grandfather and stealing his family fortune. Seeing how this could destroy her family history, Allison volunteered to stop him. So, when the Team caught up to Cyberscorp, he attacked Annie, stole her DNA, and proceeded to rob the Stagecoach. But, Allison was able to stop him, and preserve her family history. After Cyberscorp was coralled, Annie resumed her role as Sheriff, and thanked Kitty and Team Katswell for helping her get rid of that modern bandit.
Personality & Traits:
Annie is a tried and true cowgirl, through and through. She loves the outdoors, feeling the wind in her hair, and the thrill of the Wild West. She could never stand being couped up. But, Annie's also very devoted to her job as sheriff of Duck Ridge, and doesn't give up until she gets the bandit she's pursuing. But, that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy the thrill of chasing the bad guys, as it adds to her love of enjoying the outdoors.
Annie also provides mercy towards her allies, even if they did something they shouldn't have done. This was most evident when she offered her future posse a chance to join her in fighting Tucker and his gang after she offered them a pardon from prison. As for Kitty and Team Katswell, though, Annie thought Kitty was her twin sister because of how similar to each other they look, but she also took a liking to her best friend, Allison, and thinks she would make a good cowgirl herself one day.
Aside from getting couped up, another thing Annie can't stand in the slightest is peas (a trait that carried onto her descendant, Kitty Katswell). For some reason, she can't seem to swallow the darn things. Another thing that gets under her skin is the fact that she's pretty sensitive, and doesn't like getting teased, even if it's just for laughs. But, Annie's a tried and true cowgirl, and never backs down when it means keeping Duck Ridge safe from the outlaws of the West.
Well, that's Sheriff Annie's update for "TUFF: Team Katswell."
