Ah, I think I know what is wrong with his left arm. His upper arm is on the same angle as if he was touching the ground, though, it isn't by a lot, making is seem shorter in length. Try raising the upper arm and bending his wrist more to fix that, or, make his elbow seem farther away.
One other thing I saw was the Cutlass was bent a little much. Try straightening it up a bit, maybe make the back tip of the sword pointing at the spot where the toe and claw meet.
Other than that, great start :D

acutaly the cutlass is line up perfectly, it only looks more bent due to being on the ground... though you do have a point about the arm.
should i shift the sholder muscle and the elbow a bit backward?

Yeah, the handle was throwing me off, so, I think you should just straighten the handle so that it is flat with the camera.
And yes, that would be perfect.
