Story: Harmony HawkTail is a former childhood friend of Boot Hill Buzzard who grew up in the same neighborhood he did somewhere in Avian City (formerly called High Wind Gulch) where it was once a hard life for former birds of prey civilians facing discrimination and segregation, being even harder for vultures due to their former scavenger instincts and were denied the most important job opportunities, even better education out of fear of bad vultures using that education to commit the worse crimes. But for Harmony, somehow with her father Clarence HawkTail being the sheriff, was allowed in school while Boot Hill was kept out of it, which often saddened Harmony to be without him where other students were uncomfortable being around a student with a sharp beak that might severely injure them, yet had no choice but to make the best of the situation and use what she had learned to later try and teach Boot Hill herself without the ones in charge of lawmaking finding out about it hopefully. As time went on, tragedy would soon strike for Boot Hill who lost his father one night to criminals during a midnight robbery and his mother to a corrupt system that had her sent to federal prison when she blinded by rage went after the remaining criminals and shot them dead. Harmony's family ended up adopting Boot Hill, refusing to hand him over to be thrown into an orphanage, hiding him from an unjust system that still blindly hated and mistrusted birds of prey, and in time there rose a rebellion of some sort to drive the corrupted scum out of High Wind Gulch and rename the town Avian City, thanks to Harmony's father, but at the cost of his life, another life taken tragically. New laws, policies, and guidelines were made, giving all groups the education they needed. Even with her father gone, Harmony learned enough from him over the years to gain and show talent with the lasso and the revolver that gave her an ambition to someday become a deputy. While Boot Hill had been given the job as an undertaker, he was respected as a resident like he always wanted, and still remained close to Harmony, the one who always believed in him and never let others tell her otherwise, despite the old wounds that sometimes haunted him. And sadly for Harmony, another loss would come the next following night out in the graveyard when she discovered the gold watch Boot Hill always carried to be lying on the ground, but no sign of her close friend. With no evidence of murder, Harmony suspected foal play or a kidnapping as she knew in her heart that her close friend would never leave like that without telling her. With only one witness claiming that he saw an unfamiliar stagecoach riding in the distance and disappearing at an alarming speed, Harmony kept the gold watch with her and vowed to work harder in becoming a deputy, to someday find and bring her close friend back home.
