- Bush was a totalitarian liberal who happened to have an R next to his name
- The war did initially protect us from some terrorist cells in Afghanistan, but was mostly an excuse to steal our rights to privacy (just as the pandemic lockdowns and masking were initially supposed to be about slowing the spread of the virus to be manageable, but then turned into an excuse to steal our civil rights...wait a minute)
- Obama, slightly more totalitarian and slightly more liberal, doubled down on everything Bush did in opposition to conservative values
- Gay marriage was pushed onto us by a court
- Contrary to freedom of religion, bakeries are forced to provide specific services to affirm certain types of couples
- Men allowed to enter women's sports, including combat sports, and literally batter and injure women
- Abortion forced onto society through the courts rather than the lawful election process
- 99% uncontested control of mainstream entertainment, journalism, and education industries with a 1% token conservative voice which is openly mocked and denigrated as "extremist" (Passion of the Christ/Veggietales, Fox News, you name it; completely milquetoast soft-right content is "extremist")
- Trump the "neo Nazi extreme far right doo-doo head who says mean things on Twitter sometimes" was pro gay, pro trans, pro stimulus, and the most anti-war president we've had since the 70s and ENDED that blasted pointless Middle East war while de-escalating tensions with enemy nations like Palestine and North Korea

But sure, the culture has TOTALLY shifted to the right in some way...
