After the events of the movie, Cody went back to free the captive animals in McLeach's lair, and even offered to include them in their rescue group. While some preferred to return home, others accepted his offer, including Red, who eventually got together with Faloo. A couple months later, Faloo, Cody and the other animals are expecting a new addition to the group.

A commission I ordered from  black_kitty, though I drew the original sketch of the two main characters. (It was originally going to be just the two of them, but she generously decided to add the other small animals as well, haha)

(Yes, I know Faloo technically wouldn't carry this way, but blackkitty has drawn pregnant kangaroos before, not to mention dragons, so... ease off.)
