Our Blueberry Gum product(s) are really popular, and I'm thankful that we've managed to sell so much of it. People seem to really love it, and our gum makes this fantasy a reality for people in a safe and well studied way. That being said, testing can only cover so much. Every now and then, a new situation arises. Some variation that we never considered in our testing. An example of this is that we make it very clear that food or drink should not be consumed with our treatments. This is simply because food and drink pose too much of a variable with our treatments and we can't be sure how every single product on the market would react. On occasion, we find out though. Ms. Cassie was put in touch with us after chewing some blueberry gum, and whilst also chugging an entire bottle of soda.
It's unclear if this was intentional or not. A lot of people like to push the boundaries of our treatments. Regardless, the carbon dioxide of the soda did in fact react with our gum, causing exceptional bloating and swelling. Indeed, Ms. Cassie seemed to swell at an alarming rate, specifically in the stomach region. If this continues, she may swell up beyond what we consider to be the normal tolerances for our blueberries. We're sure she'll be OK, but swelling this much, this fast is definitely not recommended. Hopefully there will be no long term side effects to this.
