The locomotive in the picture is SS1 （韶山一型电力机车） electric locomotive——China's first generation electric locomotive.Its predecessor was the 6Y1 type imitated by the Soviet VL60 electric locomotive.
Successfully developed in the 1960s and put into mass production in the 1980s，A total of 826 units were produced before the shutdown. It was once widely used in China’s electrified railways until it was fully decommissioned in 2014，It is milestone significance for the development of Chinese railways.
