I can't remember how this came about, but one day Chip gulped Lemnoodle... somewhat. She was too big for his belly, so half of her gets to wait up in his crop until there's more room. What a way to go... XD
I loved the concept so I had to sketch it.

Great depiction of an avian stomach and crop pretty much filled to a realistic, maximum capacity. If the "noodle" had been just a little bit longer, we might have seen a fair amount of tail hanging outside the beak for a few hours as well, ever so slowly being pulled inside, as the front end digests away to make room for more, as in the case in nature when birds swallow very long snakes whole. An expansion of this concept to a multi-panel comic with the same cut away views giving an hour by hour progression of the digestive process would be very entertaining, with the last one showing the hawk ejecting a glistening scale-packed pellet, though the thin, fragile, serpentine bones would likely have been completely digested away.
Oh man, I adore this piece a lot, really wonderful work!
Not only did you do a fantastic job depicting the eagle and his expression, but even the subtle pose with the wing covering and/or dabbing at his mouth after his meal is great. So casual about having swallowed up this dragon, and even the dialogue casually dismissing what prey he's caught, it's very characterful :D
I love the scenario too. I'm a big fan of unorthodox predator/prey relationships, and a bird capturing and devouring a freaking dragon is nothing short of delicious (pun intended, heh), especially when Lemon Noodle seems usually pretty predatory herself from what I've seen. The helplessness and frightened expression on Lemon Noodle is great too, showing this dragon struggling inside the stomach and crop, the twisted long body showing how cramped it is inside the tummy and crop. It gives a really good picture of how difficult, yet satisfying, this meal must've been for Chip to gulp down.
Great piece overall from scenario to execution. Great job :D

Rather than unorthodox or "role reversal", this scenario actually hearkens back to the legends of the Roc, a huge predatory bird whose favorite food was Asiatic noodle dragons, and then there is the Naga eating Garuda bird as well. This is actually a fairly small noodle meal as far as birds are concerned. One biologist reported seeing a crane swallow a live snake that was heavier, and twice as long as the bird that ingested it!
I love the byplay between the facial expression of the dragon and smug pred, just such dominance between the nervous looking prey and the pred who rubbing it in with his facial expression.
Just love the body language it makes a good pic great. Of note the prey looks more nervous and uncertain than terrified mindless panic, I prefer it that way in pictures.
