Controversial bunnies
Like many others, I don't like how Lola looks so far in Space Jam 2.
It's less the lack of tits and more the head and facial structure that bother me though. So I gave her a little work-over.

No matter what, history can’t be erased. You can’t change the past. The only thing we can do with history is learn from it. Remember what Rafaki said to Simba as an adult “It’s all in the past! I know the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it!”
And they can’t control what shows we watch, what games we play, whatever we draw, what books we read, etc. We are all protected by Freedom of Speech to enjoy those things.

Honestly I'm more worried about them tampering with her character. To me, design is less important than story. (As a Godzilla fan, you get used to a lot of goofy looking designs mixed in with the good) From what I've heard so far about her personality changes, they might completely butcher the character's personality.
All that said, this looks really good!

I did think Lola was cute as a kid, but she was never one of my foundational furry crushes. However, I'm not a fan of the CG. Toons are toons. Hand drawn characters interacting with live action people still has a magical feel because of the displacement between the two. CGI closes the gap arguably into the uncanny valley realm.
In the 2D art she looks 40 and way more similar to slappy squirrel than to her old self. 3D in-movie, at least from the single screenshot I could find, she looks 4.
I don't like they stole her tits but as you said that is not the only issue. Prefer your version
also for some reason she has a pom pom tail in the drawn art for some reason. And I don't get the glove, don't think it looks good, but maybe that's "in fashion" nowadays, I have no idea about fashion
Oh and.. I hate how when you search for it, you'll find a flood of mass media praising the redesign and saying it was important and so on and, to quote one, "conservatives want you to be mad that [she]'s not hot any more". Screw that, I'm not mad because of any political leaning, I'm mad because she was always one of my favorite character designs and up there with Demona, Krystal and Renamon. Yes it was because she was hot, but so what?
(sorry for the tangent XD)

I just hate that they changed her. She was fine. They just saw her as sexual, thought that was bad and changed her because of that. Sure she's a cartoon, but that equates to body shaming for me. These people couldn't stand to see her as she was so to not be horny at a cartoon bunny they changed her. I deeply resent that attitude and thought process.
Yes but that can be chalked up to Hollywood being trash.
All the biggest roles and influences being women pretty much overrides that as you cannot have a story without conflict.
And in the end Judy realizes she's wrong herself rather than someone making her realize it. Lots of angles that can be taken as female empowerment
And speaking of don't forget Gazelle being such a prominent image and driver of the plot

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNcmSHp8WBs I think this is relevant! I'm glad for the canon reboot of the character, and you should be too! I wish more people knew about it, they made her funny!
The show version is basically a pure airhead, the original Space Jam version is basically just sexy. Who knows what they're doing with the Space Jam 2 version, but they made her look like a straight up recolor of Bugs, because obviously, pretty girls can't be good at stuff, so they gotta make her generic.
