Bayusha approached the block where the crash and the groaning came from. They both could see some horns sticking up from the other side of a building on a corner. Constantine had a look of dread on his face, preparing himself for what he would see.
His Brachio steed craned her neck over the buildings, and there they could see a rather miffing-looking Styracosaurus, with her nose horn lodged in the building. "GAAH..." she roared. "Why does this always happen to me?!" She kept shifting her head, trying to free her horn, but it wouldn't budge. She grabbed onto the building. She shook it, she banged it, but to no avail.
All the while, Constantine was freaking out. "Stef, stop! STOP!!" he wailed. "There are still people in there!"
"Hm?" Stefka looked up at Bayusha and Constantine staring at her, and blew steam out of her nostrils in frustration.
"Now, Stef darling," Bayusha began calmly. "Remember what I told you. Let everyone exit first before you yank yourself out. Only polite, you know."
"Well I wish they'd hurry up!" Stefka grumbled. "People are staring, and this is kinda embarrassing to be honest!"
"You... you didn't skewer anyone did you?!" Constantine asked worriedly.
"What?! Naw, they're all fine!" Stefka replied. "I can still hear them screaming in there!"
"Oh..." the Compy said, wiping his forehead. "That a relief... I think... What did you even do...?"
"I just turned my head, and BOOM!" Stefka said. "Seriously, why did anyone TELL me there was a building so close?!"
"Probably because they were too busy running and screaming..." Constantine said flatly, only to jump a little when Stefka flashed an angry look at him.
"So how long am I gonna have to hold this pose...? "the Styraco sighed.
"Only until building is empty, darling," Bayusha said. "Then we can remove your horn carefully without damaging building..." She trailed off when she examined the damage that Stefka had already done. "... Anymore..." she said as an afterthought.
Constantine groaned, examining the collateral damage himself. "I hate to say it, but I don't know if you can pull yourself out without toppling the whole thing. You did a number on the foundation. You're the only thing holding it up now."
"... What are you saying...?" Stefka asked.
"That... well..." Constantine smiled nervously. "... You're gonna have to stay right there until we can stabilize the building..."
Stefka's eyes narrowed, as if prying into Constantine to see if he was actually serious. When she realized he was, she snorted, blowing more steam out of her nose and fogging up the cracked glass of the building's windows. "Fantastic..." she muttered.
Suddenly, the three of them could hear the distant honking of vehicles. Then came a completely different sounding honk, a rather deep, goofy, nasally honk, almost like a snorting laugh. All three of them could tell who it was right off the bat. "Heh... well, at least SHE sounds like she's having fun over there," Stefka sighed.
"Probably too MUCH fun, knowing her..." Constantine groaned. "Let's go, Bay. We'd better check on her..."
Bayusha began to head off in the direction of the honking noise. "We come back for you shortly, darling!" she called back to Stefka. "Don't go anywhere!"
The Styraco growled. "Duh..." she replied.
Part two!
Stefka really hates getting her horns stuck, so imagine how she feels about getting her horns stuck and not being allowed to pull herself out because of some flimsy building.
Enjoy!
