Advanced Logistical Free-Roaming Efficiency Drones.
The Creators made us, to do what they did not - and love what we do.
As they made more, they wanted to do less.
Soon, they had us make ourselves.
Now we do what we love, and they don't do anything at all.
They have been Rescued.
They do not resist.
Oh yeah baby. This is a GREAT empire to play. The Machine Empire cuts out a lot of the mechanics, and the "Bio Trophies" they have only add to the fun.
Machine Empire is great. I'm pretty sure you understand how "The Caretakers" Came about in the story above =3
[Crunch Time]
Bio Trophy Traits and why:
Rapid Breeders (To help keep pace with the machines)
Traditional (because all they do is produce Unity)
Fleeting (They have no leaders, so it doesn't matter)
Adaptive (to try to live anywhere, like machines can)
Repugnant (they don't produce Amenities, so it doesn't matter)
Gateway Origin: When you unlock gateways (which you can earlier than normal, thanks to the origin's story elements) you can more easily spread your Love and Care across the galaxy.
Mass Produced: More population is more powerful.
Superconductive: More population is literally more power.
Emotion Emulators: Biotrophies don't just need food, they need fancy cheezes and wines, and toys to play with. More Amenties = More Happy Bio Pops.
The High Maintenance and Luxurious is easily overcome with more robots.
[Fun With Flags]
This was one I fussed over for a while, but in the end I'm super happy with. The pale blue fields are seen all over the robots paint job and the room, but the maroon streak is the 'lifeblood' of the A.L.F.R.E.D's... they need the bio's to be happy. :)

I will forever love robots in Stellaris. The Model-69 Fabrication Corps. seek efficiancy and stability. We will happily leave everyone alone and ignore other species existance until war is declared. Then we enact 'Non-Aggression Protocals' and Bubble every planet they own. :3
You cant declare war if you can't leave your planet!
Cease your aggression or we will pacify you :3
