Shinings are creatures I created, they are magically created by a being of immense power, usually those with a god-like complex. Sometimes they are even mistaken as familiars by other people. They usually take on the appearance that is similar to a canine or feline, sometimes even combining the two species appearances. Though they may change their appearance they are never able to hide their celestial traits and it stays with them no matter the shape they take on.
When first born these creatures are playful, curious, and see the good in everything in the world. Many of these creatures are known for reporting good things back to their master in hopes that good fortune is released into the world and the person recieves good fortune. But sometimes a shining is subjected to too much cruelty in the world and it changes them. While those that are pure bring good fortune and healing to the world, those that are corrupted do the opposite. They bring with them different forms of chaos, such as sickness, plagues, and other thing's to kill and thin out the population.
This shining use to be pure and bring so much joy and good will toward others.
But over time she was exposed to parts of the world where war was taking place. She watched as humans slaughtered each other for little to nothing. Eventually, the darkness took over this Shining's heart and she has a specialty for spreading deadly illnesses into the air. She roams this world as a corrupt, free from a master's will.
