Anthroid: a robot built in the image of an anthropomorphic animal, an 'anthro-android'
These four robots are some of the examples of these machines. While their purpose of their construction remains yet to be known, it can be assured that -thanks to their manufacturers from the MITO Conglomerate- whatever functions they may exhibit are guaranteed to be shown in unexpected ways that many would consider wondrous.
The individual units, from left to right:

Note:
I know it's been a long time since I actually focused my attention on my OCs again. I've had a hard time finding the time and motivation to continue making art of them and the stories surrounding them. (I've been doing more writing than drawing, comparatively) So, as part of getting back in the mood again, I've once again started fresh by redesigning my four robot characters.
I came to realize over the months that the reason it had been getting harder for me to keep up on drawing them was because they were just so big. There was so much to cover despite trying to keep details to a minimum. So this time around, I decided to try going for a more 'chibified' approach when drawing them. With a smaller size (and bigger heads, as usually recognized in chibis), I could focus more of my attention on the necessary details. That, and I also simplified parts of their original designs as part of the resizing. At the very least, I still maintained the height differences and body shapes - doing those was one of the fun parts!
