Tropical Flycatchers are a mobile, anthro carnivorous plant species hailing from tropical climates. They're not the brightest or best but they're adorable and harmless unless you're quite small. But even then they're able to be talked with! Each limb is a mouth capable of catching and consuming prey. Or a steak they bought from the local store.

Q: Where can I get one?
A: I will be doing adopts here and there but otherwise you can make your own. Or commission someone to do so.
Q: Wait I can make one?
A: Yes! Tropical Flycatchers are an open species and you're free to make your own. You can make and sell adopts as well. I only ask that you link back here if you make a design for sale, or if you post a ref of your own design. This is purely so people can learn more about the species themselves~
Q: Did you design them?
A: Yes/no? I bought an adopt from EmeticDelirium which was just the design. You can see it yourself here. However what I did was adjust the original adopt and flesh out the entire bio of the species. Almost everything you see here is designed or restructured by myself with no input from the artist of that original adopt. I got permission to make these a species once I realized what I was going to be making. So please check out their work for being really cool about this whole thing <3
(Update, it seems as though they've removed themselves from FA. Which is a real shame. But I don't have any control over such things. I wish I had a way to link to where they are now, but I'll keep the links there in case they return to the site in the future.)
Q: I want to do "X" thing with my design!!!
A: Awesome! They're extremely flexible in design, allowing for you to incorporate elements from any fungus or plant. This is just the main "purebred" version. Check the second of the three refs for more details on all you can do!

Ah! Apologies for replying a few days late. I'm not in the country at the moment so I'm not really checking online notifications as much right now lol. I do have a larger version but it was too large to upload comfortably. This was the resolution I settled on that's viewable on most monitors without sizing it down, and most legible. It did get a bit crunched and I'm wondering if I might be able to convert it down in a better format to clear it up more. Though I do feel like it's legible at this scale!

No worries! It's probably just my monitor being a bit um...big. High resolution for programming. For the flycatcher...I actually adopted them from you! Though I did make a number of small changes and it has been three years! It's Pokki https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44502160/ ! I haven't done too many changes, though. Primarily leafebrows, leaf "tuft" and wood "glasses". Just some things that have become a bit of a staple for my characters. Don't really post much, though, so not really posted.
