My favorite headline of all time was from the WEEKLY WORLD NEWS:
"Couple Flees Talking Bear"
I ran a copy of that front page in Apatoons years ago when that story was published. I "embellished" the headline with a picture of Yogi Bear and a caption that read "artist's rendition of vociferous bruin."
Another favorite headline involved a toy poodle thwarting a robbery in NYC, which I turned into a series of drawings featuring Georgette from Disney's Oliver and Company.
And, of course, there was the headline "The 11th PLAGUE!", and the sub-heading which read, "Discovery of ancient writings turns archaeologists into goat-men!". I'm obviously in the wrong line of work!
