Seemir's favorite days at the Serpent's Coils were ones where a great number of travelers came through at once. Not only did they fill the rooms of the famed tavern with travelers from all walks of life, he also had many opportunities to hear their stories. For as long as he's been an innkeeper, and for even longer as an adventurer himself, he had no shortage of his own tales to tell. Yet, he was still curious of the countless stories his patrons often had to tell.
Such was the case of one such straggler, a husky, who arrived shortly after the supper rush. As the husky settled in on a nearby barstool, Seemir gave him the same greeting that he always had to anyone who stopped in. "Why hello there, and welcome to the Serpent's Coils! My name is Seemir; what can I getcha?"
"O-Oh! Thank you!" the husky chuckled. "Uh, just a cider for me, please."
"One cider, comin' right up!" In one fluid motion, the serpentine bartender took a pint from the cabinet in one hand and plucked up the cider jug with his tail. Turning back around, he then tipped the jug's contents into the pint. By the time it was set in front of the husky, Seemir tipped the jug back to reveal a fully filled pint.
"W-Wow, that's impressive!" the husky smiled. "Thank you!"
"You got a name, sweetie?"
"O-Oh! Just call me Kai."
Seemir grabbed a rag from under the counter and pulled over a glass that he had been cleaning. "You look like the kind of guy that's been places. Do much adventuring yourself?"
"A little bit. Just trying to make ends meet." Kai took a sip of cider. Aah, delicious.
"I used to be an adventurer myself, but I'm always curious of what others have to say, and tonight's a tad slow. Got any stories you wanna tell me?"
"Actually, I do have one."
"Oh, wonderful! I wanna hear this one." Seemir set the jug back down on the counter. "Take all the time you need, I've got all night..."

TheMuffinly featuring Seemir Brandy my bartending naga cleric! The atmosphere is spot-on for the kind of place he'd run and Muffin fully nailed his fantasy innkeeper outfit.
