its the same as playing in the snow.... and its not hard to dry a fursuit or parts for that matter

um, any part with foam in it really shouldn't be submerged, and it looks like this suit has padding which is probably foam, and feet, which almost definitely have foam. :( it collects the water, and it can mildew and get all icky. Plus wet fur never really goes back to the same texture.

I have washed it thoroughly few times before that now, and there has not been problems with paddings. And there was not problems after the pool either. And the fur is good as new. It just needed a same kind of brushing like after wash

=/ it's just such a nice looking suit, I would be very worried about doing something like this, with chlorine and pool chemicals. Even when washing suits, I've always heard that it's better to wash them wrapped in something like a sheet/pillowcase.

The pool is my own and I use just a minimum dose of chlorine in the water. Actually it was in the use just for that furrymeet.
And yeah. There is many ways to wash a fursuit. And there's many kind of fursuits too. My suit is made for tough use, but I still make a good care not to
harm it too much.
The quality of the fur is very good, and it can take the water too. It just needs a passionate caring and a lot of brushing after that ;)

Have you heard that some people actually wash their fursuit now and then?
It was not more problem to get those dry after this either.

Well maybe you cannot wash your feet. And I'm okay with that.
My footpaws can take that. My suit is made for tough use, and if something goes wrong. I'll fix it.

I'm just not the kind of fursuiter who just stands still and makes cute face. And my fursuit has been build with that fact in mind.

I dont know if you have seen Eurofurence videos... In the last year's (or was it the year before that) there were Fursuiters jumping in a indoor pool of the Hotel that where the meeting was...

And that's when someone thought. "I'm gonna invent the indoor pool"

"Aargh! Animals have taken over my pool!!"

And then that same person thought "Damn, I forgot the warning, better find a lawyer..."

Hehee. Luckily in Finland people is not so eager to sue other ones

If only the same could be said about my fellow countrymen. lol
