Transformers Reloaded Interview
I play Roblox from time to time and love many of the games from it, one of my favorites being; Transformers Reloaded. I was lucky enough to come in contact with the very person behind that game, whom was kind enough to do an interview with me about parts of the game.

Q: the preview screen shows optimus using his trailer as a weapon. was this ever a part of the game?
A: Yea. In its earlier days, it was his special. But then Roblox broke the scripts in it so I replaced it with the axe
Q: were limited time characters like hoist and skullgrin going to be brought back at certain points once a year? and speaking of, were there ever plans for more limited time characters or super bots?
A: Yep! I was planning on doing new event characters each month. I had plans to do Straxus too. He was going to be a Cybertronian turret. Other super bots were going to be characters like Rodimus Prime. I did have a plan to bring back old event characters too for Christmas.
Q: there's this underground cave section that looks like a temple, what is it?
A: The hidden cave temple was something I made based on the Egypt temple fight in Revenge of the fallen. I thought it would be a fun place to take cover in.
Q: what were skins like mournful assassin, undyed shockwave, and ravenous shatter inspired by?
A: Mournful Assassin was based on Kitana from Mortal Kombat, Ravenous Shatter was based on Mileena from Mortal Kombat, and undyed Shockwave was based on Eva unit 00 from Evangelion and also the MS-06 Zaku from Gundam.
Q: were there plans for other locations like Cybertron, autobot city/lookout mountain, quintessa, junkion, the inside of unicron, etc.)?
A: Yes. There was actually a finished Cybertron map model. That I would sometimes insert with admin. I did want to expand beyond just earth and Cybertron in the game too. At some point I almost made a unicron planet model that I would have grow closer and closer to the map with each update.
I couldn’t recover the Cybertron map after by ban though
Q: what were the events that lead up to that (the unicron event)?
A: Yes. I was going to have a few updates where scourge and cyclonus would be added to foreshadow unicron’s arrival
Galvatron’s alt mode can even be seen crashed in the ocean
Q: what were the events that lead up to that (the ban)?
A: I made a dumb mistake that got my login info leaked. Someone logged on to my account and tried selling my Robux for real money, which got me banned because it was done under my account’s name.

Q: what was your favorite unlockable skin that you made?
A: I’d say mournful assassin for the bots, and ravenous shatter for the cons
Q: What inspired you to make Shockwave a car instead of a laser gun, a ship, or a tank?
A: In TFR, At first I wanted to make him a tank based on his bot shots toy. But then I wanted to make him modeled off of one of my favorite shockwave designs. The Q transformers Shockwave design. I thought the mainly black color scheme and car mode looked cool.
Q: Were there ever plans for things like combiners or triple changers?
A: Yes. I did have plans to make a Devastator gamepass. It was one of the driving motivations for me to finish all the constructicons. Triple changers were a thought that I remember crossing my mind, but I don't believe I really went forward with the idea.
Q: what is you overall favorite character model in the game?
A: I think it would have to be Huffer or Skullgrin
Q: what was your fondest memory when making the game?
A: Finishing the Wave II release update after it took almost a month to finish. Everyone was so hyped for it and I felt like they were going to love the new characters and map expansions.
Q: do you have any plans for Transformers Reloaded+?
A: Depending on how well I can fix the scripts, I may or may not continue with the project. I kinda deleted a lot of it after it was poorly recieving upon release. If I do continue with it, I'll like keep it R6 and have it more or less TFR with extra characters and stuff.
