Aura initially sets out with the intention of getting Evenfall to take her as his wife so she can live with all the luxuries that come from being the future king's wife. Somewhere along the way of their three year long courting, she realizes that it isn't just the luxuries that are motivating her to want to spend the rest of her life with him.

On the other side of things, Evenfall knew the moment he met her that she would be his wife.
