benrey’s dog disguise, from my thingvrai au
when he gets to the black mesa base and “rescued” by the science team, tommy decides to name him ‘ben’ because “He just looks like a ‘Ben’ to me. :)”
and benrey keeps the name because ‘holy shit bro he gave me a name? which humans only do when they really like a thing?? i feel special and loved???’
…and then later he adds the ‘ry’ to the end, ‘cause the rest of the science team all got two syllable names and he doesn’t wanna feel left out!
also as for the design, he never wears a guard uniform in this au, so i figured i’d do something fun and give his dog body markings that look like a lil’ doggy assault vest :3
