It was the morning after Bock's ultimatum, and the cooks of La fourchette d'argent exchanged worried looks.
Not because of the ultimatum. They shared the idea with Bock, and were taking their precautions.
Because in spite of all the hours that passed and of the venting actions he made, Bock was still in a very foul mood.
Eventually, Henri had enough.
"For Pete's sake, Bock, stop stewing like that! Go walk somewhere, read, anything, BUT RELAX!!"
The shock of being yelled at by Henri paralyzed Bock a few seconds, before he obeyed, took a coat to hide inside, and went outside.
Relax, he's funny! How am I supposed to relax?! thought the blob as he stuck to small, desert narrow streets.
As he reviewed in his mind some things he liked to do, he thought back of his two giant growths.
And remembered that both times, the sensation of the growth felt good.
Oh, he had been too pissed to really care about it both times, but with hindsight, he saw it had helped him keep enough calm to not do something he'd regret.
He hesitated a few seconds...
Oh, why not?
And he began calling on his unexpected ability anew.
And indeed, as he began swelling once more, the pleasure came back again.
Already as he went taller than skyscrapers and with a respectable bulk, he smiled for the first time since the attack.
He left Paris and began wandering, still growing.
When he reached the height of the Mont Blanc, his muscles greater than any bodybuilder, his anger was almost entirely gone.
Maybe I should stop, I feel really better now...
Except that this was the first time he grew just for growing.
And thus, as he felt the full brunt of the bliss, he also felt its main side-effect.
The want for more.
Nah, let's keep going.
And he began flexing as he dwarfed the mountain in front of him, growing more and more...
