Kajex and the Mega Nite
Commission #2 that was done for
Turbo-Tails-8027 with his TITANIC Dragonite, Mega Nite, going on a solar system snack fest with a teeny, tiny Kajex for the ride!
It was cute to work on and I'll call this my 2nd (Technically 3rd if you count Inu's comm) Macro March story for you all! Finished the first of my personal stories as well, so I'm blazing through this!
It was a calm, clear, sunny day for Kajex as he strolled through the streets. He was just on his way to the store to grab some extra milk and bread for the week plus a MUCH needed restock on his Oreos. He was in a fairly alright mood and he felt nothing could go awry that day for him.
“Gonna get my groceries,” he whistled as he trotted towards the grocery store entrance, “And nom on half of the cookies on the way home because I am CRAVING some chocolatey goodness!”
He walks into the store happily and grabs his basket, quickly zipping through aisle after aisle grabbing his milk and bread with no effort at all, ending off at the cookies.
“I need ALL of the Oreos!” he exclaimed with a bright smile as he shoveled package after package into his basket, “I ran out of them yesterday!”
Kajex grabbed at LEAST a dozen things of Oreos before heading up front and paying for his groceries. Now whistling his way out of the store while opening up one of his packages of Oreos.
“Down the hatch,” he smiled as he chomped down on one in a single bite, “Mmmmm! I missed this!”
Kajex ate Oreo after Oreo as he got out of the parking lot, definitely enjoying all the extra chocolate in his system.
“These’ll last me a week tops though,” he said as he munched on another, “Maybe call up Rhys to help me carry more next we-”
His thoughts got completely cut off as the sky began to turn oddly dark, almost like it suddenly turned into nighttime.
“Hey uh… who turned out the lights?” Kajex awkwardly asked himself as he looked up at the almost black sky, “It should only be like 2 in the aftern-”
Then Kajex was suddenly blown backwards by an unusually damp gust of wind with the force of an atomic bomb and a half, several buildings around him cracking against it.
“What's with the wind?!” Kajex struggled as he kept his cookies safe as he flew around, “It’s like I’m stuck in a hurricane!”
Then a voice then rang out so loudly that the entire planet could hear it no matter what.
“I’ll keep you all safe in my belly,” the voice began in an oddly protective tone, “Don’t worry!”
The entire planet began to tremble in a GARGANTUAN earthquake while Kajex tried to get his head on straight, dissecting the information the unknown voice gave the planet.
“W-Wait, belly?” Kajex began to awkwardly remark to himself, “A-As in a stomach?!”
The air turned incredibly damp and the sky began to turn almost pitch black, confirming to Kajex that his suspicions were indeed correct.
“I-I gotta get out of here!” he panicked as his eyes began to spark with power, “I-I’m not s-some appetizer or something!”
Kajex quickly pushed his growth abilities to the max before leaping off of the planet and into the deep, starry abyss of space, drifting away from his home planet while being the size of said planet. Plus, his Oreo stash was able to fit inside his coat as if they were normal sized.
“A-Am I good at least?” Kajex stuttered when realized everybody else was about to go into the belly of some world breaking being, “S-Sorry g-”
He once once again caught off when he turned around to see a Dragonite maw at LEAST a few dozen times larger than him close down on the planet mere inches from his body, hearing it gently slide down a throat slowly and carefully.
“Wh-Whoa…” Kajex began in a squeak, embarrassed tone, “Th-That just ate a whole planet like it was nothing…” “Hm?” the familiar voice began as it heard Kajex’s words.
The Dragonite maw moved downwards, giving the Dragonite and Kajex a VERY good look at each others’ faces.
“Oh hello there little Lucario!” the male Dragonite began in a doting tone, “Were you watching that planet?” “A-Actually I was k-kinda living on it,” Kajex blushed as he rubbed his neck, “P-Panicked my way off of it…”
The Dragonite was confused by what Kajex meant by, “panicked off of it.”
“Definitely an interesting way to put it as to how you got off,” he began as he nudged Kajex onto his nose cutely, “But we can talk about that later, who’re you?”
Kajex latched onto the Dragonite’s nose with the sweet relief of solid ground again.
“O-Oh I’m Kajex,” Kajex began all shakily as per usual, “H-How about you?” “Of course!” the Dragonite smiled as he fixed his gaze on Kajex, “I’m Mega Nite! Nice to meet you Kajex!”
Kajex gave an awkward chuckle as Mega Nite gave Kajex a quick head pat with a claw tip to assure Kajex he meant no sort of harm.
“G-Glad to meet you too Mega Nite,” he blushed as he looked to the side. “The pleasure’s all mine!” Mega Nite smiled in response.
Mega Nite took a quick glance around him as he patted his belly, feeling the new planet safely plop inside of him.
“Well Kajex,” Mega Nite began, “Would you be okay with keeping me company out here while I finish snacking on this solar system?” “O-Oh sure!” Kajex nodded, “I-I wouldn’t mind that at all! I-I kinda don’t have anything else to do anyways.”
Mega Nite gave Kajex another head pat with a bright smile adjusting his position before getting a move on, enveloping Kajex in a planet destroying earthquake from just a simple adjustment of the neck.
“Wh-Whoa!” Kajex stammered as he tried to hold onto Mega Nita’s scaly nose tightly, “Wh-What’s happening?!” “Oh I’m sorry!” Mega Nite replied apologetically, “I’m not used to interacting with others that I can somewhat see and hear!”
Mega Nite carefully picked up Kajex by a claw tip, Kajex turning into a panicked, flustered mess the whole time before he plopped Kajex onto his right shoulder.
“I-It’s fine,” Kajex stuttered as he tried to calm down, “I-I’m used to being small, but not THIS small to somebody… sun sized!.”
Mega Nite tilted his head in confusion, thinking about what Kajex meant by all of that as he began to move again while Kajex began to nom in his Oreos again.
“I thought you were on the planet,” Mega Nite began, “And if you were tiny for the planet I'd never be able to see you.” “O-Oh yeah, hehe…” Kajex began with an embarrassed look on his face, “I-I never explained that I can size shift at will.”
That definitely piqued Mega Nite’s interest in such an ability.
“So THAT explains how you could get off the planet like that!” he exclaimed to himself as Kajex was forced to cover his ears. “Y-Yep!” Kajex exclaimed in response. “I-I was born like this!”
Kajex was so caught off guard by the explosive voice in her ears he gave a little demonstration to help the volume die down a little, steadily growing larger until he was more like the size of a small candy bar compared to Mega Nite.
“That’s pretty cool!” Mega Nite began as he wicked up his pace towards Mars, “So you could even be bigger than me if you wanted too?” “Y-Yeah theoretically,” Kajex began, “But I’d be exhausted AND I’m more comfortable like this anyways.” “Makes sense,” Mega Nite replied as he neared Mars, “Otherwise you would’ve dwarfed me ages ago!”
Mega Nite just smiled and gave Kajex a chin scritch as he leaned down and swallowed Mars whole after checking for civilizations. Kajex was able to almost feel it slide down Mega Nite’s throat.
“Y-Yeah that’s true,” Kajex squeaked as he watched another one go down into Mega Nite’s belly, “A-And uh… mind if I ask you something now?” “It’s only fair,” Mega Nite replied as he moved along to the asteroid belt, “What is it?” “Why do you eat planets?” Kajex squeaked all flustered, “Th-They all seem just fine with where they are.”
Mega Nite only gave Kajex a warm smile in response to that little question.
“To keep them and every denizen safe either inside, or on me!” he smiled as he picked up his pace a little. “H-Huh?” Kajex replied, “O-On you?” “Oh some people live around my body, but most are inside of my stomach!” Mega Nite replied, “I’m here to keep everybody safe and happy!”
Kajex then instantly thought about how everybody back home must feel safe and secure inside of Mega Nite, albeit probably a little drenched in sweat. Mega Nite on the other hand was swallowing asteroids like candy.
“Y-Yeah they’re all probably perfectly safe with a protector like you!” Kajex replied on pure autopilot. “That means a lot to me!” Mega Nite smiled as he paused eating the asteroid belt, “Thank you Kajex!”
Kajex got all blushy as Mega Nite continued to consume the asteroid belt for another minute or so, leaving the entirety of it snug in his stomach.
“That hit the spot,” Mega Nite smiled as he rubbed his belly, “Gonna have a decent surge after this one!” “S-Surge?” Kajex asked curiously, “Wh-What do you mean by tha-”
Once again before Kajex could get a sentence in he was caught off guard when Mega Nite had a growth spurt that halved Kajex’s size compared to him.
“Wh-What?” Kajex stammered. “Oh, I grow bigger when I eat celestial objects,” Mega Nite replied as he caught sight of Jupiter, “People are fine though.”
Mega Nite began to move towards the marble like Jupiter happily, Kajex thinking about how bizarre it must be inside of Mega Nite now.
“S-So basically you can grow without end? Kajex asked as he tried to get himself ready to grow again. “Mhm,” Mega Nite replied, “Gotta make room for everybody!”
Mega Nite glanced back at the now barren inner part of the solar system, only the Sun remaining there to be some sort of dessert for later.
“D-Did you eat Mercury and Venus earlier?” Kajex awkwardly asked. “Oh? Those two extra tiny planets I had earlier?” Mega Nite replied, “Yeah. Don’t worry, they’re both safely inside of me as well.”
Kajex began to sweat a little as he thought about the potential hundreds of planets Mega Nite had inside of him.
“This one will be joining them in a bit,” Mega Nite smiled as he checked for life on it. “Feels weird to see Jupiter before it gets eaten,” Kajex thought as he watched.
After another minute or so Mega Nite leaned downward and swallowed Jupiter whole like the others, it’s gas based structure making it super easy to swallow.
“Not as solid as the last bunch of them,” Mega Nite remarked as he felt it plop inside. “O-Oh Jupiter is mostly gases,” Kajex remarked, “S-So that’s probably why.”
Mega Nite took that little tidbit to heart as he moved onto his next planet, Saturn.
“S-Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are the same,” Kajex continued like the little science nerd he was. “Aw really?” Mega Nite replied, “Hopefully they stay intact in me! I don’t wanna lose a planet on my watch!”
Kajex gave a soft smile in regards to that remark.
“I definitely understand why,” Kajex smiled as he took a deep breath, “It’d probably devastate you until you kick the bucket.” “Of course it would!” Mega Nite replied, “I don’t wanna lose these small, precious planets!”
Mega Nite began to blush slightly at his own reaction to that question.
“S-Sorry,” Mega Nite blushed as Saturn drew closer and closer, “I couldn’t control myself for a moment.” “It’s fine!” Kajex assured him, “I-I was being a bit silly with that question.”
The two of them awkwardly chuckled that off as the rings of Saturn got broken up by Mega Nite’s stomach, both clearly had lost track of time and current placement in the universe.
“W-We’re already at Saturn?!” Kajex stammered, “Y-You only got Jupiter like a minute or two ago!” “Extra size does that to you,” Mega Nite replied as he backed up, “Those asteroids were tasty though.”
Mega Nite started eating the rings first, feeling a bit of a chill as ice chunks descended into the depths of his belly.
“Guess this is where things get really cold,” Mega Nite thought to himself, “It feels like I’m swallowing ice.”
The rings were devoured like they were actually just onion rings. A little chilly inside for a bit, but nothing all too bad for Mega Nite.
“Now for the main course,” Kajex awkwardly joked. “Nope, the main course is that big sun behind us,” Mega Nite countered with a smile. “H-Huh?” Kajex stammered to himself.
Mega Nite chose to swallow Saturn whole just like all prior planets, the gas, “giant,” sliding down like it was nothing like it’s brother Jupiter.
“Hopefully Saturn gets its rings back inside,” Kajex joked again. “They’re probably mostly melted by now,” Mega Nite replied as he looked around, “But the planet itself should be okay!”
Kajex caught sight of the next planet in line, Uranus, before Mega Nite, snickering a bit as he drifted towards it in confusion as to why Kajex was snickering.
“Why are you laughing like that?” Mega Nite asked as he scratched Kajex’s forehead. “S-Sorry, I sometimes get like this when I think of Uranus,” Kajex snickered, “Hehe…”
Mega Nite only gave Kajex more head scratches, noticing how Kajex was steadily opening up to him.
“Hehe, you’re honestly kinda cool,” Mega Nite smiled, “But definitely more cute.” “N-No I’m not!” Kajex blushed as Mega Nite kept smiling, “I-I’m not cute!” “That blush says otherwise,” Mega Nite replied happily.
Uranus only drew ever closer to them for a brief period of time. The black emptiness around them only twinkled with more and more stars until they had finally arrived at the planet that you have to make a joke about.
“This planet looks so lonely,” Mega Nite began as he faintly caught a glimpse of Neptune even further out. “W-Well anyone would this far away from home,” Kajex began, “B-But I doubt you ever feel lonely with the billions of lives you’re protecting!” “Never a dull day,” Mega Nite smiled as he glanced downwards, “I’m sure everybody agrees!”
Mega Nite opened his maw more eagerly than usual this time, swallowing the bad joke within seconds.
“Well, there goes another bad joke from my system,” Kajex shrugged as Mega Nite diverted course for Neptune. “No such thing as a bad joke” Mega Nite replied. “Every joke is a bad joke with me,” Kajex finished.
They both chuckled at that little quip from Kajex.
“Not that one though, Mega Nite chuckled. “Okay maaaaybe that was a good one,” Kajex rolled his eyes at with a smile, “But that’s a once in a blue moon scenario!”
They chuckled some more as Neptune drew closer and closer, now looking like a marble in the distance.
“That blue moon seems pretty frequent though,” Mega Nite joked. “You sure,” Kajex replied with an eye roll. “Definitely,” Mega Nite countered, “More than sure.”
Neptune now drifted in front of the two, with a borderline microscopic Pluto not too far away unbeknownst to them.
“Eh, if you say so,” Kajex shrugged as Mega Nite did his last examination of the day.
Mega Nite took a deep breath before swallowing the planet whole, getting Pluto mixed in as well, the literally microscopic planet definitely was completely forgotten by the nerd of a Lucario.
“Feels like I got a little more than what I thought I was gonna get,” Mega Nite remarked. “You’re probably just imagining things,” Kajex replied, “There shouldn’t be anything beyond Neptune for hundreds of lightyears.”
They both wrote it off as a figment of the imagination as they turned back towards the Sun, the final piece of the solar system left.
“Now you’re ready for the main course?” Kajex asked as he recalled what Mega Nite said earlier. “Born ready!” he replied.
They drew closer and closer to where it all began, nearing the bright ball of yellow light’s warmth.
“Guess the biggest item really does have to be last,” Kajex remarked as he felt it’s familiar embrace creep back up to him. “Really sells it as the finale,” Mega Nite replied, “Plus, it’s the crowning jewel of life here!”
They were now at the asteroid belt’s original place in the system in their trek back to the start.
“Well yeah” Kajex replied, “My entire planet wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for the Sun!” “I’ll be sure to be extra careful with it!” Mega Nite replied with his protective tone, “It means so much to you all!”
Kajex gave Mega Nite a bright, doofy smile in response to that as they drew near.
“Wouldn’t have it any other way,” Kajex smiled as his tail wagged at top speed. “Glad to hear it!” Mega Nite replied.
They were now in front of the big ball of fire, Kajex forced to cover his eyes because it was so bright.
“Now here it comes!” Mega Nite smiled before opening his maw
Mega Nite quickly put the entire Sun in his mouth, thinking it was a smidge hot, but nothing unbearable before he let it slide down his throat with a hint of spice, making sure it was a safe trip while Kajex watched, a single phrase escaping from his smol Lucario maw.
“This day has been quite a good one,” he began, “Thanks for making it not an Oreo binge session Mega Nite.”
Mega Nite let out a sigh of relief before grabbing Kajex and squeezing him against his chest in a planetary hug.
“Glad to have a little Lucario to chat with!” he smiled as Kajex blushed brightly.
Mega Nite had another HUGE growth spurt surge throughout his body as he hugged Kajex, making Kajex appear about the same size compared to Mega Nite as the second they met.
“I-It’s nothing,” Kajex squeaked, “R-Really…” “I think it’s something,” Mega Nite smiled.
Mega Nite began to just casually drift now to wherever the stars took them, Kajex and the billions added to the population of Mega Nite’s belly perfectly content with the protection their cosmic guardian is now providing them… along with a smol Kajex nomming on the last of his Oreos...
