This is something I'd been playing with for a while now.
Self hypnosis using binaural beats. I used four voices and brown noise.
Voice 1: 12Hz beat to 8Hz beat continuous decline, using a 440Hz pitch and a 360 degree stereo field rotation.
Voice 2: 7Hz beat continuous, using a 100Hz pitch.
Voice 3: 13Hz beat continuous, using an 800Hz pitch with a 180 degree out of phase modulation.
Voice 4: 10Hz beat continuous, using a 440Hz pitch.
Brown Noise: -90 degrees out of phase modulation.
In order for it to work, you need headphones and make sure right is right, left is left. Focus on every nuance of the sound, and you can train yourself to fall into a trance-like state. It's pretty cool.
Note: I had to butcher the sound quality in order to upload this. I originally had it at 44100Hz 320kbps in mp3 format, and it took up almost 40MB worth of space. To meet FA's size limit, I had to go down to a 24000Hz sample rate and 80kbps. Either way, it still works.

Dunno, lol...you would need the actual error code. Since you have auto-reboot on, you don't get a good look at the BSOD. Here's the easy way...
1. Right-click on Computer, select Properties.
2. Click Advanced System Settings.
3. On the Advanced tab, under “Startup and Recovery”, click “settings”.
4. Under “System Failure”, uncheck the box next to “automatic restart”.
Once you get the code...you can know what caused it.

You can stare at the picture for a bit and then look away, and it'll seem as if it is breathing...lol.
But the power of sound like this is best investigated with your eyes closed and with no distractions, that way you can hear every subtlety it has...it's quite interesting.

well that was certainly weird
i've been wanting to do something like this
i did some noise experimentation earlier this year in this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3921825/
a bunch of noise loops, ambience, and volume amplification

Tonight, I found that listening to this while watching this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5691580/ in another tab is phenomenal.
Great work with the sound file! I've listened to it a couple times before, but never said anything, but I really do love it.

Heheh - nothing the human mind can't comprehend. The sweeping sound is brown noise rotating in a stereo field - this trains left and right orientation in 360 degrees. The other voices are one bass, two midrange and one treble. The mind typically follows the higher frequency. So keeping everything else constant, the pitch of the higher note gradually falling is what affects you.
If you look at brainwave patterns, neural oscillations follow a tested and true form that can be measured readily. Gamma brainwaves oscillate at 32-100hz (cognition and perception), beta waves at 16-31hz (consciousness and muscle contraction), Mu and SMR at 7-15.5hz (sensory motor reflex, input and output, motion and balance), alpha at 8-15hz (spatial understanding and baseline for waking consciousness), theta waves 4-7hz (REM sleep), and delta at 0.1-3hz (sleep). If you focus on the higher note, over time your brain will train to the oscillation, bringing you from a relaxed pre-sleep state directly to the upper threshold of REM sleep while still being awake.
Basically the sound file is designed to make you dream while awake. Hypnosis involves a very similar approach to binaural beat training - something that in the overlap of science and spirituality create a weird natural state where you either become hypnotized in a way and suggestions will effect you, you bilocate between your physical body and your mental consciousness, or you grip the edge of astral projection.
The file seems to affect everyone differently. But it does not change the science of manually putting your brain into a different wave state if you lose yourself in it.

Long story short it is iDosing before that was recognized as a possible auditory drug.
With two tones an octave apart, a third oscillating, and a fourth descending....with background noise, it mimics the brains interpretation of getting high in a social setting. The brown becomes the background, the low and high are voice, the mid is the self, and the downward tone is ones drowsiness turning to sleep.
I made this for myself since I suffer from insomnia. But from the responses I'm convinced I either changed people's lives by letting them experience a "coming down" without drugs...or I pissed them off because it's literally 15 minutes of drone.
If you felt the effect then your brain is able to be manipulated by sound. It means you are normal. And since you listened to it you may be susceptible to subconscious suggestion or hypnotism. If you ever develop a need for hypnotic drugs to help you sleep, even melatonin, you'll feel the experience without the tones. This endeavor was to prove I can fall asleep without melatonin and without Unisom and without passing out from alcohol and without getting stoned off my ass. Take from this what you will.
