My first little two frame animation in a larger project. Trying to do a lot more large and quick strokes for the outlines, which I think is working out for the better (though inexperience is leaving me with a lot of re-dos). As this is a GIF, I didn't want to go crazy with lots of shading and extra fur definition, very flat colors and more cartoon-ish than usual to keep the quality reasonably high. I think it looks pretty cute though, I'm really happy with how my sona turned out in this!

Anyway I've been feeling pretty down lately over the last couple of months. Not here to soapbox, but I did want to make art addressing it in a cutesy and hopefully relatable way. Sometimes it just feels like being sad in and of itself is an activity to do, it's kind of consuming sometimes. Here's hoping for less sad spirals and more fun in everyone's future.
