My secret hobby is needlepoint/cross-stitch. I picked up a pattern for an oriental dragon tapestry one day and never really got around to doing anything with it until I told my boy about it.

We made a deal wherein he'd get me the thread for it and I'd make it for him... Well, it's turned into a really big project - this photo was shot at about 20% completion! It measures something like 16x12 inches and has two sizes of stitch: the big one that makes up most of the pattern and what I call the "microstitches" that are a quarter of the size of the big stitches.

This has taken me almost 70 hours so far.
