I sketched this up at Anthrocon, but cleaning up the sketch didn't really turn out the way I'd hoped, so I decided to slap some quick color on since I'd probably use this as an updated reference, anyway.
This is Ri'kinto Valez, one of Akosha's close allies and an even closer friend of Tekari. He's the mage of the group. He possesses the rare Auran ability of having multiple gifts (read: powers), which, while making him versatile, also multiplies his vulnerability to abuse them and harm himself or his friends. Despite his hatred of wealth, he stubbornly adorns himself with shimmering armor and elaborate (yet minimal) fabric to further accent his appearance. Made thin from malnourishment and apathetic from a rough family life, he continues to strive in search of meaning in his life. Akosha and Tekari have made well to give him a reason to live, but it remains up to him whether he accepts their council. There are years of emotional abuse to heal...
