I made thiis creature on the whim... I really wanted a manta ray-like character but then I got carried away with the design.

This is Aureus! They are a creature living in hot sunny areas, and have the tendency to flee from all civilization due to some myths regarding them leaving trails of gold during their flight, and bringing good fortune.... also they smell heavenly.
Aware they're being hunted for, Aureus has learned to stay away from anything.
Though they hope to find peace one day.

After all, is the hunt truly worth it?
