Alright, Chapter 1, Scene 1 is finished!
Whew! Comics, amiright? It's taken me six weeks (January 30th - March 3rd) to finish 8 pages and I'm super sad I couldn't include color for all of them, but that just would have made the process a million times longer.
I'm going to be uploading 1 page per week, so that buys me seven weeks to finish scene 2. I may let up on the super crisp linearts and let it be more sketchy to crunch on time. Much as I like having a very posh, clean look, I am also just super eager to craft the story itself and I find that sketchy work get more reception anyway for some reason.

Summary:
A year after the murder of his parents, young Bruce Wayne returns to “Crime Alley”, seeking vengeance. What he finds instead is Jay, a strange boy with whom he forms a close bond as they team up to search the most dangerous parts of Gotham for the murderer.
Now a grown man, Bruce Wayne struggles with the haunting memories of what he experienced all those years ago. Meanwhile, an unknown killer frames his alter-ego, Batman, for the murders of the criminal associates of Carmine Falcone. With his relationship with the GCPD in shambles due to unchecked police brutality and the threat of Falcone plotting with Oswald Cobblepot to put an end to the Dark Knight once and for all, Batman is on his own to catch the real killer. And when Jay suddenly reappears, Bruce courts a dangerous relationship with his childhood friend as facts begin to bleed into fiction.
