Aubry ''Microwave Madness!'' by LaytheDiaperedWhiteWolf
''What is this all about?'', Aubry, the young owl, asked himself while he walked into a strange room of an equally strange house. He saw a turtle with a green shell standing next to a giant microwave. ''Oh, hi!'', the turtle said, waving at him, ''come on in! I just found this strange microwave! It's huge, don't you think? Heh. I... eh, bought it from a guy on a flee market. He said he found it too useless and that it was too creepy for him'' Aubry flew into the turtle's direction and landed in front of him, asking: ''Ehm... I'm Aubry, the Owl. Who are you?'' The turtle rubbed his shell: ''Heh, nice to meet ya'. My name's Morgan'' The two shook each other's hand, and Aubry got closer to the massive microwave to take a better look at it. ''Wanna try it?'', Morgan asked, ''it's fun! Enjoy while you can, huh. It won't hurt, trust me'' Aubry didn't quite know what to say neither what he could expect, but he decided to give it a try. After that, he would get a chance to know the friendly turtle better. Aubry stepped into the microwave, then turned around. Morgan closed the door and pressed some of the buttons. ''Now just wait and relax, dude'', he said. The entire machine started to make a low zooming noise, while a total of seven cylinder-shaped holes warmed up and started to glow red. ''Ehh... W-Will I be fine after this?'', Aubry asked nervously. ''Of course'', Morgan answered, ''you'll be back in a few minutes after the treat! You'll enjoy it. Believe me'' The air surrounding Aubry got warmer and warmer. Aubry started to get a little nervous when the temperature was about to reach 40'C. His feathers started to feel heavy and weak. When Aubry looked down on himself, he noticed his paws sinking away into a light-brown substance. ''Am... Am I...'', he wondered, ''...Am I melting?'' He looked through the thick glass of the microwave window, where Morgan blinked at him, smiling with an amused look in his eyes. ''C'mon, don't worry, owl'', Morgan said, ''when you're completely melted, you'll return to your old self! Just relax!'' Aubry kept his body completely still as his waist and tail feathers sank away into a golden puddle. ''H- Have YOU already tried this thing out?'', Aubry wanted to know. Both his ears and his two wings started to droop. ''Ehh... only once, mate'', was Morgan's answer. The turtle shrugged: ''And I quite enjoyed it. You should too!'' As his eyes slid down, Aubry realized he had no choice. The all-consuming heat overwhelmed him. The temperature was shown on a small device attached to the inside of the microwave. There was a digit visible on a small screen: 50'C. And that digit would soon become 60. Aubry closed his eyes as his face sank away and merged with the rest of the golden liquid. As Morgan watched from the outside, the precious golden feathers began spreading all over the floor, causing Aubry's face to be barely visible anymore. Finally, the door opened. The deep red of the glowing heaters poured out, together with the molten golden liquid that belonged to Aubry. ''Well well, wasn't that a trip'', Morgan chuckled. ''You'll be your old self in a minute, buddy''
A couple minutes later, Aubry opened his eyes. ''W- ...Where am I? ...M-Morgan...?'' The turtle stood in front of him, with a smile on his face. ''Now wasn't that somthin', huh'', he said, ''heh. Did ya' like it?'' Aubry nodded slowly. He was glad that he had become his old self again. ''Ehh...'', he started, ''y-yeah! It... WAS fun! A little weird, but... still'' ''Glad to hear that, mate!'' was the turtle's reply, ''see? I really didn't mean any harm to anyone. I really just want people to enjoy themselves with this thing'' Aubry rubbed his feathers clean and looked around. Then, he saw the enormous microwave again. When he looked in front of him again, he noticed Morgan reaching out to him with his right hand. ''See?'', he said, ''didn't I tell you? You can trust me. ...Friends?'' Aubry didn't know what to answer, but eventually, he made his decision. He got up, and shook hands with the turtle once again. ''Friends'', he said. ''Now, you do look a bit hungry, dude'', Morgan continued, ''can I offer you some food? We could eat something at my terrace outside! Come with me! The weather's nice!'' Aubry followed Morgan to a small terrace with a metal table and two metal seats. The weather was indeed nice and pretty warm. Though Aubry was sure it wouldn't get as warm as the inside of the microwave.

Interesting. It is like a cartoon / trip / episode of 'Goosebumps'. Lots of ways you can think on this with fear, curiosity, and intrigue.
This all seems like something out of a genuine dream. If it was part of a dream, I like the interpretation. Dreams make no sense, but that is why they are so fun.

It is indeed inspired by a dream I had! How great of you to notice! [ ] I've got three chronologically connected stories, and one extra non-canon story that I wrote just because I came up with a couple new ideas after the first three were uploaded.
- Lay in ''Tyina's Big But Small Secret'' - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38174296/
- Lay in ''So Good You'll Melt'' - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38218012/ (which was the inspiration for me to do Aubry's story)
- Lay in ''Sea Seat Struggle!'' (Reupload Full GB/ENG. Ver.) - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38345561/ (Reuploaded since the NL and GB versions together in one upload turned out to be too much for one text frame. So I separated them into two versions -- one Dutch version and one English version.)
- Lay in ''...f-fink Imma melting...'' - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40905251/ (The non-canon side story that I added later on)
*** Please comment your thoughts and/or feelings below each story, if you want to! I like getting comments on my work! See ya' there! [ ]
