By the time he arrived at Damian’s place, he had calmed down significantly. He knocked on the door, and after about five seconds, he heard someone coming down the stairs. The door opened, and Damian’s figure popped up from behind the large, wooden door.
“Hey Lucas, glad you could make it. Come on…”
Before he could continue his sentence, Lucas started crying again. He just couldn’t hold it in, after seeing his friend. Damian, feeling sorry for the wolf, pulled Lucas into an embrace, and taking him in.
“It’s okay Lucas, I’m here. Just let it all out.” Damian loosened the embrace, grabbed Lucas’ hand, took him to the living room and let him sit on the couch. He then moved to the kitchen, and filled a glass with water. When he returned to the living room, Lucas was holding his head in his hands, sobbing. Damian reached the glass of water out to Lucas, who took it, and sat down besides the crying wolf, patting the wolf on the back, up and down, trying to comfort his friend.
Lucas took a sip from the glass, which calmed him down significantly. He took deep breaths, calming down his breathing, and after about a minute or two, he was calmed down to the point where he could talk without a hitch.
“Thanks, Damian” Lucas started “I really don’t know what I’d do without a friend like you. I’ve just been having the worst two weeks of my life. I haven’t had any commissions lately, my parents had some friction, and just now, my landowner notified me that my rent’s being doubled for this month. I just don’t know what to do.”
Damian, visibly feeling sorry for Lucas, lifted up the wolf’s head, to a point where their eyes lock onto each other.
“Lucas, everything’s gonna be fine, I can promise you that much. You’re a strong guy, and you’ve never let anything major get to you before. I made a promise in high school, that I’d always be there for you, no matter what, and I still stand by those words.”
It was only now that Lucas noticed the details of the fox’ eyes. They were a bright blue, mixed with some more intense darker blue. They were the most comforting about the whole situation for Lucas. They had known each other since year 1 of high school, and only now did this specific feature about Damian stand out to Lucas.
“Thanks Damian. You’re way too kind. But you’re right, the last time something major got me was my parents’ divorce.” The wolf said, having calmed down completely. He wiped the tears from his snout, and took another deep breath. He picked up the glass again, and this time, downs the whole glass in one go.
-“Alright, now that you’ve calmed down, what would you like to do? Feel free to move anywhere inside. I don’t know if you brought some drawing tuff, but I assume you did, so you can settle down on the dining table and work on some commissions or your own art if you want.” Damian suggests.
“You know me way too well Damian.” Lucas said with a laugh. He picked up his bag, which he dropped in the hallway after being picked up by Damian. “I think I’m gonna work on some older commissions. If you want, I can also do some character art for your Paladin Wood Elf.” Lucas proposes.
This interested the fox, since he loved the art style that Lucas uses. He had commissioned from the wolf a few times in the past, and had every single one of them hanging in his bedroom. “If you insist, I’d be honoured!” He says. “Name your price.”
“Oh, no, this one will be on me, since you’re always helping me out and stuff.” Lucas said, as he started working on the sketch.
-“Okay, sure!” Damian replies.
As time progressed, the sun started setting down, giving both the fox and the wolf that feeling of starting hunger. Lucas suggested going out, but Damian thought of cooking for his friend. Lucas gladly accepted the offer, and like so, Damian started cooking, while Lucas readied the dining table.
After dinner, Lucas thanked Damian for the meal, looked at his watch, and realized he had ‘forgotten’ his alternative reason for coming over.
“Ehm… Damian? I just realised it’s past 9:30, and the landowner closes the gates to the apartments at 9…” Lucas lies. He knew the gates closed at 9, he just wanted to stay at the fox’ house, feeling safe with his friend.
-“Oh, that’s a tough one…” Damian starts thinking of a solution, but can only think of one. “I don’t have a spare bed, and the cough is awful to sleep on…” He looks over to Lucas, who is starting to put 1 and 1 together. “You can stay in my bed for tonight, if you don’t mind.” His proposal got accepted by the wolf before he realised what had happened.
After some preparation, they moved to Damian’s bedroom. They both undressed, stripping down to just some shorts, and got in bed. They wished each other good night, and fell asleep soon after.

I have some questions about this scene:
"He wiped the tears from his snout, and took another deep breath."
1. When Lucas was crying, did his tears specifically roll down:
A: The bridge of his snout and off the tip of his nose as he hung his head
or
B: The side of his snout diagonally and off his lower jaw
2. Exactly how would Lucas react and what would he say to me if I hugged him, rubbed his back and licked those tears rolling down his snout with my tongue? Because every time I read that scene, I fantasize licking every last tear from Lucas' snout before he could wipe them away.
3. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the saltiest, exactly how salty would Lucas' tears taste on my tongue if I licked them directly from his snout?
4. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being frozen and 10 being scalding hot, how warm were those tears rolling down Lucas' snout?
I know these questions sound weird but please please PLEASE reply back!

Haha they sure sound weird! To give an honest answer to all your questions:
1. The tears roll down the bridge of his snout, off the tip of his nose as he hung his head
2. He would probably be too fed up with how he was feeling to notice you licking the tears off
3. Probably a 4, Lucas isn't really a salty one
4. A good 6, maybe a 5
I hope this aids you in your fantasizing quest!
