
A commission... watercolors on bristol paper. A few folks on DA weren't 100% convinced it was ONLY watercolor, but I assured them I did it totally wrong (used white, used black, used salt, etc etc) so that's probably why it doesn't look like a traditional watercolor :}

This is positively gorgeous! As a watercolor painter myself, I can definitely tell it's watercolor, but you by no means used the medium 'wrong.' True, there is a 'traditional' way of using watercolor which doesn't include white, but that doesn't make it 'wrong.' You used the medium to your advantage to get the effects you wanted, which is what successful and talented artists do. :)
