I was minding my own business this morning, when I came across this interesting piece of TUFF trivia: Did you know that Francisco was originally gonna be called the "Littergator," and was gonna be a trash-themed bad guy in the show's conceptual phase? No joke, take a look for yourself: https://georgegoodchild.com/wp-cont.....TUFFPuppy2.jpg
When I saw what Francisco was originally gonna look like, I was like "Aw, man! That would've REALLY cool to see!" I mean, the name "Littergator" and his whole trash gimmick immediately reminded me of what I saw in the original 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and in the original Ninja Turtles toy line from Playmates. It's that kind of stupid creativity that I downright appreciate. But, since we got Francisco in the final product, I might as well make the Littergator his own character.
So, for my version of the Littergator, I decided to make him taller than Francisco, gave him goggles to protect his eyes from the fumes his garbage gives off, and gave him a ballcap and overalls similar to Chuck from "Earthworm Jim" ( https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/e.....20100616233413 ). Speaking of his ballcap, I put " I  Trash" on it, which is an Easter Egg to Oscar the Grouch's song of the same name. I believe I've created a very unique character based on TUFF's conceptual phase.
I don't really have much of a backstory for him other than the fact that he's Francisco's older brother Charlie, and was a regular trash man in Petropolis that was tired of being looked down upon by everyone. So, he decided to use his love of trash to make a mess of Petropolis, and it inspired Francisco to join DOOM to follow in his villainous footsteps. Oh, and not only does he go up against Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell, he also faces off against the Rush,
Leaf-Cutter's OC, as well.
Well, that's my take on a fascinating piece of TUFF lore.
Whaddaya think, guys?
