Shrinking Violet - a Thursday Prompt - Sci-fi
Once you are gone from this world, you have no cares as to the state of the living - government, and etc. This is easily proven by going to any cemetery, and yelling out some sort of inflammatory question concerning anything at all. You might hear crickets, or if you're like me you will hear that constant ringing, but you will not hear the dead make any comment. Joe the grave digger might yell something back, but that doesn't count; he's still breathing.
Because of this, we, as writers, need to look to the future and perhaps (if we feel the need) write our feelings in an expressive way that might (only might) provide a wake up punch to the nose to the generations following ours. Mind... you can use the brain dead as a punching bag all day and all night, and never once will they feel a thing. That, and you might bruise your knuckles.
And so, dear readers, I give you this small piece... enjoy...
And now I shall depart for some very fine Mexican food.

Yeouch!!!......#$@&%*!.........Pardon me ........while I climb out of the pit you just dropped me into. .....ugh.......I'm almost there.....whew!
Now that I'm out, I can tell you what I was thinking on the way down: Just what is the difference between a human being and being human?
And now that I think about it, why do I feel like I'm about to lose an hour very soon ?

Thanks, I know English.)))
I read the story - I like it. By the way, I know something like that.
This is a story from the TV series "The outer limits" - there humanoid robots were engaged in mining work, and one robot woman sent to recycling, because she saw a blue flower and stopped her work - and her colleague took the flower with him, damaged his coprocessor and went for recycling together with her.
Because robots were so advanced that they start to feel human emotions.

Maybe I mispronounced - but "recently" in my understanding, can mean a few years ago. Sometimes I forget how fast the years fly ...
I'm a big - but not "too big" fan of this series - to know all the seasons by heart, but as far as I know, the last official 7th season was released in 2010.
As I said - you will need to look at Wikipedia as well as the description of the seasons and the description of the series.
