How would Ziggy have a child if he is gay?

Ziggy and his best friend Caroline are both sixteen years old. Caroline is practically in love with Ziggy and Ziggy has been wondering as of late what it would be like to be with a woman. One day Caroline comes to the usual spot where she and Ziggy hang out and tells him that she's moving in a few days. Being so attached to one another they both have a little crying session. They meet up the night before she leaves to go see a movie and get some burgers then hang out at the park. the clock is reproaching midnight. Ziggy attempts to stay in contact with Caroline after she moves away but after about a month she stops replying to his texts, calls, and e-mails. So eventually, the crestfallen Ziggy, just stops trying to contact his friend. Little does he know, Caroline stopped talking to him because she found out she was pregnant and was afraid to tell him. Not because she was worried about him being angry but she knew that Ziggy would worry. And in her teenage mind, it was better for him to think that she didn't want to talk to him anymore rather than for him to worry about a child.

After Caroline's death her parents inform the social workers that they do not want to take care of the child because he was born out of wedlock and that it was bad enough having their unmarried daughter in their home like that much less the child. So the social workers take the child to the next closest living relative.

so this is more or less how it goes.

Ziggy is at his place with Marcel on a sunny Saturday. Everything's going well and Marcel is in the kitchen fixing something to eat when a knock comes at the door of Ziggy's house. And but of course Ziggy goes to answer it, when he opens the door a woman probably in her 30s is at the door with a small violet headed child hiding behind her legs.

*insert missing dialogue i haven't bothered to type up here*

Ziggy: "But... But i can't raise a kid! I'd be a horrible parent!"

Social Worker: "But you'd be a perfectly fine parent, sir"

Marcel: *walks in and is about to ask Ziggy if he wants a sandwich*
