--Here's the characters as furries and the species they are--
Gelatin= cat (breed not decided)
Firey= canine (species not decided, might change his species later on)
Taco= cat-axolotl hybrid (you can't tell but she has an axolotl tail)
Ice cube= penguin
Needle= heron
Loser= dragon
Leafy= cat (tabby probably)
Cake= cat (breed not decided)
Naily= porcupine
