I commissioned 
Babs Wolf to draw up some linework of both original Talespin Molly Cunningham, and Ducktales'17 Molly. She took my super simple rough sketch into an awesome piece.
Printed the linework to a transparency film, and then painted with acrylics.
I actually took elements of both versions' colorations and worked them together. In the original series, Molly's nose was pinkish red, while DT17 had it black. I went middle of the road and got a more reddish brown. I also found colors that were between both of their fur colors and rolled with that.
Total painting time around 6 hours
