The next data file in my series of such from Gaster in my AU. In this one, Gaster speaks a bit about their time in DC after returning back to Mt. Ebott as well as further ironing out of details regarding his suspicions of what happened after Asriel and Chara went to the surface. And he prepares to begin talking about the New Monsters, who will over time come to be known as the Children of Dreemurr.

You will notice that this data file doesn't have the wingdings, and that the date is simplified. On the third page you will see an in-universe explanation for it in an Addendum section to the data file, but the in real life reason is that I've found that including the in the background wingdings bit has become... frustrating and annoying enough that it was contributing to me not working on any of these. I will admit that I can be a procrastinator in general anyways, but I've had this file and number 008 written out and ready to be copied over to pic and then gif form for about... *goes off to check*

jesus fucking christ, I've had data file 007 alone ready to go since all the way back near the end of April of last year.

I've of course been working on numerous other story things in between then and now, but still, its taken almost a year for me to get around to finishing this and getting it uploaded. And knowing that I'd have to deal with the wingdings part was a contributing factor to me putting it off, as the process is annoying even if its not exceptionally time consuming. I will freely admit that I am a lazy and impatient person, so that doesn't help matters any.

This doesn't mean wingdings won't make appearances in some future data files. Just means that I'll use them for important bits.

As for the date bit... several times recently I've had to revise dates, double check my timeline document, and found myself just getting a bit lost as I work to keep it as consistent as possible. I know that for big world settings and such that not everyone can always manage to be consistent, but at times I can be a bit of a perfectionist, and sometimes that desire for perfection prevents me from getting things done or doing them at all.

Switching to keeping the dates a bit fuzzier/vaguer lets me keep a flow/passage of time without having to spend too much time worrying over whether or not I'm being exact or on the dot. And ultimately, this alternate universe I am crafting is for the enjoyment of myself and my friends above all else. This isn't something I expect to ever become a super big huge thing, so being super duper hyper worried or focused on consistency seems a bit silly (or at least is at times keeping me from making progress)

Anyways, I got 008-010 ready to go, and I also in the coming month or so will be working on a general data file to share some of the other lore stuff I've come up with.
