My contribution to the Feline Exchange on LJ. This is 
anbessa's character, a male lion named Anbessa. I had the darndest time drawing him for some reason. The only way I could settle on a sketch was to include a dog that was pictured in one of the reference pics Lothar gave me. Oh, well. Hope you like, Lothar!
There are so many things I don't like about this, but there's nothing more I can bring myself to do to it. *covers head in shame* Colored with colored pencils and a smidgen of gel pens for the eyes.

o hey, thank you very much. so far nobody's gone blind, so it can't be that bad at all... again, thank you.
besides, that mentioned black dog is someone else's character, and the pic you used is the remainder of an unpaid comission. serves him well to be abused further. :)

You're welcome. I'm sorry about the whole mess back on the feline exchange... I know I didn't have anything to do with it, but I sure wish it could have gone easier for you. :( Sometimes people overreact and act like the world is over... and then it takes the fun out of everything.

no need to feel sorry. you had absolutely nothing to do with it... i just went never to return again, and i'd have missed you pic if not for Ms. Sabrekitty, who beat me with a shtick towards it.
aside the obvious mistakes, and i am sure you;ve seen them yourself already, it's a nice idea, and i like the facial expressions and the pose.
i won't chew anybody out for having trouble drawing anything without being in the right mood, sotosay, or having unusual trouble with special features, for i experience those problems myself every now and then. so, there. :)
(and i've seen worse, trust me. I wouldn't go and comment so detailed on artwork that doesn't appeal to me.)
