Well Fox's mother in the comics was 'Vixy' so that might work in this instance... or Fox could just be a gender-neutral name.
As for Krystal, I've seen just 'Krys' but you could play off other stone-based names: "Turquoise", "Quartz", "Lazuli" or there's also "Sabre" of course if you want to call back to Dinosaur planet.
It's probably easier just to call them by their regular names. Krystal looks like the kind of guy who could make it work.
