Finally with some luck, Mr's Brisby volunteered to help Catherine on her quest to get back home. After they encountered Jeremy the crow from being tangled up in some string, they also encountered Dragon, the cat that belonged to farmer Fitzgibbons, and was the cat responsible for Jonathan Brisby's death! Catherine and Brisby make a run for it as Dragon is on their tail. Jeremy coming in just in time to tell them to grab the sting, they both hold on for dear life as they are soaring in the air for a short time when the string snaps, having the two land into the tree branches. Catherine was hanging from the edge of the branches but her fingers were slowly losing grip of the branch and started to slowly slip off, at the time she looks down to see the ferocious cat climbing up after her. Brisby coming to her just in time before she could slip off, putting all her strength to pulling her back up before Dragon could reach her.
