Ohhh I'm slightly worried for Star on that aspect. Its going to be a good cover for a charity event and she'll be safe with her cover, but hopefully it doesn't leave too bad of a taste in her mouth for the whole reason why she's done it without her consent in the first place (tho tbh I'm probably just overthinking a lot of this XD)
Would it be fair to assume that panel 3 took the most time because of having to create a reflection in the beer bottle? Or panel 1 because it contains six different characters?
Having to still do that charity event is a surprising revelation, but if Manda has some advice, then I'm sure it's going to be more fun than she first thought.

Truthfully I think thats what happened last year, everyone assumed that nomination was the final thing but thats only the part that gets you on the short list of who to actually vote for in the final. This is the final hurdle now with people actually needing to vote for the shortlisted selection (kinda like the oscars I think) so yeah getting nominated is only half the battle
In fairness Manda is saying "oh no why would you want to NOT do it?" So she is at the very least asking Star why she wants to back out of it. Ultimately Manda can say "You have to do it" And star can say "Why dont you just fuck off with that" Its not like Manda is going to actually force her to do it.
I know this is an old comment, but I was rereading this comic and going through the comments to see what extra info BabyStar added, and I was relieved to see that you (SuperiorMutt27) feel the same way I do. There's a lot that I like about the comic, but the idea of being treated that way is...ugh. Reminds me too much of past experiences, I guess.

Buddy I think you're art have improved for the better especially when I saw star's reflection in that beer bottle.
This comic has awakened interests for me i never knew i needed, to be honest im loving this comic.

I really envy Lure. To be able to whine like that without consequence. I have always been loved but that can be very stressful sometimes. That they always try to help you so you have to be very careful with what you say. After all just because you might complain about something doesn't mean you want it gone.
I really do love your comics, but that plot line with Star being discovered by a coworker, and then blackmailed, hit my "NO NO NO NO!!!!" button.
Sad to say I felt I had to unwatch, as That just went too far into my hard limits.
I'm back now, after seeing that plotline is over.
Feel bad I had to leave, and liking where the story is going now, with the new relationship.
