I think I outdid myself with this one...those "Ooh, Shiny!" pics appear to have done me some good. Also this one only took 2.5 days of free time from pencils to completion.
Tatiana has always liked over-the-knee boots, and this year she gets to take them even higher as I attempt to show at least somebody around here can draw boots correctly :) These were referenced from a set of photographs of unknown online origin a few years ago, and although I don't know the brand or style name, these towering red patent thighboots were the perfect subject for a theme pic, owing to the preponderance of red showing up in people's outfits (and uploaded artwork) around Valentine's Day. Add in some tight latex pants referenced from the same photos, and a cropped top+leather jacket and you get....what for some would be boner-inducing hotness.
Since my characters adhere to some degree of continuity with their standalone pics, you can expect this outfit to resurface in the future, although when is anyone's guess.
Technical:
--Again, inks were via .30-tip Rapidiograph and color via Micrografx Picture Publisher.
--I spent about an hour redrawing the heels with a straight-line tool as initially I didn't get the tortuous curves of the real boots' soles quite right.
--Another change from the original inks was extending the bangs of her hair so they fell over her eyebrows
--Also on the original inks, I hadn't noticed that Tatiana's ears were drawn close to level with each other, conflicting with the tilt of her head, which necessitated some more digital surgery.
--The boots look a tad oversize. I noticed that after I was done with the shading. Their extreme height contributes to the look, and like the real ones, aren't tight on the legs like most women's boots currently are.
--The backdrop didn't exist in the original drawing--it was added digitally as an afterthought.
--I've seen examples of this type of boot without zippers, that were reported by their owners to be waterproof. I might have some fun with that idea in a future pic.

I may have her do something like this YouTube video in the near future as an attention-getter.
Mud isn't this character's fetish (although she's not afraid of walking through it if the condition of her footwear isn't an issue, she's not inclined to seek it out like Tina).
On a character level, Tatiana has some of the lowest overall pageviews of the group, and when she decides to raise her ranking, the above linked video will serve as inspiration (at least till I start drawing outright porn--she did mention early on in "What, me Furry?" that she'd do it)

Heheh it's funny how the landscapes there (looks like Russia) are very similar to here. ^^ I felt as tho I was watching footage from here. XD
Oooh hehe well that makes sense. xD It was funny too, I was waiting to really piss off your girls by running into the mudpit with one of them and pushing down on their shoulders trying to force them deeper...much deeper. XD
Heh all in all I ought to be their photographers, I'd get a "down to earth" shot of them. ;) I'd at least get wonderful "uplooking" shots as I'd be mostly submerged. ;D

I don't know the style name, but I did see white versions of these on YouTube...being used to murder a watermelon :D
Well, I imagine this won't be the last time Tatiana appears in these boots. For that matter, a few of the other characters have worn and will wear a number of different boot styles. I lean toward drawing the tall ones myself since that's what I enjoy seeing :)
