Backstory

After falling for one of Robotnik's traps, he tried the same old machine that turned Sonic into were-hog, this time he was going to alt it so Sonic/Sapphire acted more like a monster and under his control.
once transformed again (only this time as a Were-hedgebat and alt version her and Rouge's normal outfit) Robotnik brainwashed Sapphire into a beast before he set loose to attack her friends... as she was about to attack Amy and Cream, either very brave or could see through the big monster was infact her best friend Sapphire.

Cream: Miss Sapphire that's not very nice to scare Miss Amy like that, Now stop growling it's very bad!
Sapphire seem to remember her little friend's voice, and listen to what she said.
Cream: Good girl Sapphire...*giggles* My how much more fluffy you have gotten! ^^ *as she gave her hug* Don't be shy Miss Amy, She's just a giant puppy! ^w^

Soon Sapphire was more tamed, and lost what Robotnik brainwashed into her, but her smarts was down to a dog's level meaning she couldn't speak or help some of her dog-like instincts.

Cream's friend has gotten alot bigger and fluffier. ^^
