• Ereshkigal: "Lady of the Great Earth"
The name Ereshkigal comes from Sumerian mythology, depicting the Goddess of death and the underworld. In this case, her name title comes from (eres)- "lady, queen" combined with (ki)- "earth" and (gal)- "great/big" in Sumerian, too. The name was chosen to represent her species time on Earth and the ferocity of her given nature.

What can be said about the lady Ereshkigal? She's a monster, a plant, a sentient island, the rightful Queen of the World Class kaiju... the list goes on here in AEGIS. Eres sports a unique design when compared to other monsters due to her being half vegetation and half reptilian (Species: Plantae Reptilia Mega) The first of her kind. Her genetic code, from what can be gathered, is made up of a prehistoric plant life uncategorized by science but with traces of reptilian genes, too. How that was able to be made is still to be discovered. Aside from her species mysterious origins, Eres is a formidable beast on the fields. Her 4 "arms" can cause serious damage to both machine and monster! Her overall demeaner can be considered calm, but make no mistake she has a temper when her life or the life of her fellow allies are in danger. She isn't the rightful Queen for nothing!
