I blame my lack of experiance drawing fancy clothes. Heavy rain, 3 am wake up call, crowd of thousands, protesters, and blind panic that we wouldn't make it in before they closed the doors aside, we -were- going to get married, so nice clothes were a must. Things had just gotten a bit rumpled 12 hours later. And I had a giant orchad in my breast pocket that a random stranger had given me outside. ^.^

It was amazingly brave of Gavin Newsom to do that. We can only hope he'll go down in history with the likes of other people that engaged in civil disobedience for a just cause.

I have no doubt he will. I wish I lived in the city so I could vote for him, but I'll guess I'll just have to wait for whenever he decides to jump further up the political ladder. :)
