If I saw that shadow, and not this alien girlfriend first, I'd be like "...Hey, you didn't tell me you were any good at shadow puppetry." Not running away screaming. You think she'd catch on to what I'm trying to ask?

But if I saw her first, completely unaware, "Hey, I just wanted to say you look quite attractive 'cause I was just walking along, another day for the life of Ixner, and it seems I've seen you."

Heh, I think she'd get you. She'd be real secretive about it though, changing the subject quickly and all that. :P

Mm, in that case I'd probably back off till I had more context and evidence of the oddity of that shadow and say, "I ain't got much planned today. Wanna go hang out or something?"
