Very much so. I had to track down the lyrics and paste them in Babelfish and other translation websites. I'm still not finished!

Oooo, send me a link when you're done so I don't have to do it too. :) Did the Google translation once for Haschen auf die Piste (my favorite song from the second album) and saw there was something in it about red underpants. o.O

I don't think I've done that one. It's one I don't really like as much. Winterwunderland is still the best of all 3 albums. My favorite songs atm are Morgenmuffel Schnuffel, Du Und Ich and Du Bist Wie Heiße Schokolade, for which I have an animated clip idea that will remain in my head since I don't animate anymore.

I intend to flat-color the commission and repost it on my account, and I'll put up the lyrics in the description.

I'm still wondering why they messed up the third CD so horribly by chipmunking him at the last minute. :(

I only like Haschenlied and Kleine Sonne Bitte Schein from the third album, but those two are indeed first-rate.

I think they totally changed the singer. She doesn't have the sweetness of the previous singer from the first 2 albums. I say "she" because it's too obvious.

Those songs aren't bad. My favorites from Komm Kuscheln are Party Und Sonnenschein and Dumdedidldei but they both would be better with the previous singer (or singers.)

As Aldi mentioned, the vocals were done by girls-- ALL the singing, in fact, on all the albums. And I do mean "girls", here- These appear to have been between 11-13 year-old girls for all the albums and all the languages sung. The only known consistency is that it's the same vocal for both the German and English versions of the first album (of which the elusive English version was supposedly released in Norway, and nowhere else, and I've been unable to track it down; only "Snuggle Song" has made it to CD anywhere, while other English translations from the first album have been limited strictly to certain YouTube videos)-- Certain nuances consistant with young girls as vocals persist throughout the songs, some too obvious.

I should know- I have all but one known CDs I've been able to track down- some 25 Schnuffel CDs so far.

Actually the first CD seemed to have been sung by an adult alto-soprano lady, I saw a video of her singing Bunnyparty before it was accelerated to make it cuter. The later albums were higher-pitched and may very well have been younger girls.

I can't find it anymore, I believe I found it by searching for Haschenparty on YouTube, it looked sort of like a concert stage and a lady was singing the lyrics. It sounded like Schnuffel but slowed down.

Damn... so wanted to see it. :(

Granted, all the singing is pitch-shifted... Anyhoo..

Come to think of it, when I saw a bit of a Dutch TV news channel (NOS Journaal), the female presenter sounded suspiciously like the Dutch version of Schnuffel ("Snuffie Bunny") in the (obviously) Dutch version of Kuschel Song ("Snuffie Song"), with her soft, airy voice, so we'll count that as another adult female singer for Schnuffel... :)

Of course, the four Schnuffel audioplay CDs from Germany, Schnuffel is voiced by an adult male cartoon voice artist, and it's obvious that's what the voicer does.
