sweet. i was gonna do it but when i got there i wasn't sure what was going on and i saw all these female suits sitting on a bench and one of them told me it was to wait for a single shot picture of themselves. i just didn't have the time x_x hopefully ill have more paitence at FC lol

Oh, girl, lesson #1, always talk to me. :) I run and organize the shoots and usually know what's going on better than the girls do. I'm usually in Lauren or Topaz these days, just look for the zebra or the siamese and talk to me. :) Or if you want info before the con, hook me up with your contact info. I usually try and do events at AC and FC most often.

We had about 19 overall - this was a shot I, as photographer, specifically wanted for myself... Just the one Lauren chose to use. (*SMILE*) It was a FUN time!

It seemed appropriate seeing as this was also the gateway entry to the rest of the shots, plus you picked a good set of us. ;)

I am uncertain of the character's name, but that is a friend of mine, last year this suiter wore Viera, the bunny.

I found out from someone else that the character is named Miyamoto Jiro.

And the next time you speak to this friend, please tell them that I loved dancing with them and I think the character is gorgeous.

looks like it was fun lauren sorry i couldn't make it. was invited to the art gallery invitation event. that and with where my hotel room was compared to con for my suit... it limited my chances of suiting and my urge all but died after what happened on saterday evening.

Oh yeah, that's fine. :) I always love it when all the girls can make it but there's no hard feelings if anyone doesn't, I understand how it goes. :)

(*BLINK*) What happened Sat?!

*swollows lightly as you ask* well if you must know tribble. after your radio show and me hanging out with rivercoon myself and my friend Emerald skunk decided to walk back to the Omni and get some sleep. about 3 in the morning i think this was. as we did we ran into one of the artist's chen that I know who works with Eric Swartz(sp) and asked him what he was dong trying to walk from the westen all the way to the Omni at this time of night on his own.

just as i did that this one gentlemen who was ... quite obiviously not part of the convention suddenly appeared out of no where behind us and came up asking a bunch of questions and followed us moved arounded us and inbetween us like a predator going for prey. needly to say my years of 7-11 panic sense was going off extremely while he was around.

first he asked where the omni was to get a drink, then to get to the omni to go to bed. then the hotel was holding onto his bag and he wanted to make sure he made it. everytime he asked he got too close for comfort to emerald or myself. sometimes not as often chen. with his right hand in his pocket holding something. i already knew in my mind his questions were hinting that he knew the only two who had something of valve was myself and Chen as we had bags and Chen had his digital camera out.

when we got to the hotel and he still hadn't done anything i quickly sped inside and was glad to see some furs there. one of them a gentlemen i met before who was an army fur. i asked him to please watch my stuff and nod towards our 'guest' and he smiled and said no problem. as at this point i noticed Chen wasn't inside yet so i ran back out and helped him back into the hotel when i got back in, emerald was confused and fabergasted(sp) because the gentlemen had disappear just as he had appeared emerald nor anyone else knew where he went he just disappeared.

i told hotel staff and the manager of the Omni at the time they went out with full security teams to find him as they didn't like the idea of someone scaring us and emerald and i went up to my room we pulled out a drink of pop and spent an hour trying to calm down and get off the fight or flight adrenline high.

so ya... after that i really didn't want to go out fursuiting anymore...

well now you know why i didn't want to talk much on sunday either when we met up... sorry just still.. shaken by it for a few days later *snuggles the tribble and sighs* thinking back at it still makes my fur stand on end...

That's a little odd, what are they doing? Are you allowed to talk about it?

my boss decided he didn't like me being able to go to 2 cons a year by me being able to ration out my holiday days.

my holiday time is always 3 weeks and 3 floaters. originally i had to take 2 for one con and 1 week and 3 floaters for the other. because my holiday weeks can only be taken sunday's to saterdays no buts.

my boss has now said i cannot use my floater days to add to my holiday weeks off. meaning if i wanted to go to a con which is a weekend event i would have to leave saterday early saterday to get to work sunday.
to put the nail in the coffin for this he also banned anyone else from adding floaters to there holidays and told em the reason was because of how i use mine.

I don't understand why you can only use holiday weeks sun to sat. That's dumb.
