Guys... I am SO sorry I took so damn long to complete and upload this post in particular; especially considering what it is and when I'm uploading it. I've begun to notice that, when it comes to my procrastination problems I usually have, they're amplified tenfold when I'm writing fanfiction. I'm not sure why that is, to be really honest, but it kinda sucks because I wanna do just as much fan-made writing as I do original writing when it comes to my accounts... If anyone's got any tips on dealing with procrastination, please let me know!
Anyways, remember back in July of last year when I posted my very first fanfic, The Boar and The Fell-Star? Remember how I said I planned on writing up a sister story to it where it's a re-telling of the S-Rank Support Conversation between a male version of Byleth and the house leader of The Golden Deer House, Claude? Welp, today's the day! I've finally got this bad boy done and dusted! Took me nearly a year, but f*ck me, it's finally over!
Now to begin with, I'll give the usual disclaimer: Spoilers for Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be mentioned in this post; most particularly from the Golden Deer route of the game. If you don't want to be spoiled on what goes down there, then do not read this post until after you've finished playing through that route!
As for why I've made this post... Well, it's partially the same reason as to why I made The Boar and The Fell-Star. It's primarily because I wanna get better at writing romance (especially for gay men, since I don't see those too often), but also because I like Claude as a character (not as much as Dimitri, but he's a close second! ^^) and I wanted to give him the same gay romance with Byleth that I've given to Dimitri, yet the game itself hasn't given to either even though it did do so for Edelgard; and again, nothing against the normal straight version, though! And just like the previous story, I did my best to add more original content within the conversation as well. From the obvious having Byleth be male and being more vocal, to introducing the white wyvern you see Claude riding on when you promote him to the Barbarossa class (the name and gender is unspecified, so I came up with my own for convenience), the ring he gives to Byleth, and I even snuck in a mention to a previous Support Conversation between Byleth and Claude; specifically, the B+ Rank!
Hopefully, this post lives up to the expectations the previous one left off on and I hope you enjoy it! As always, if there's any critiques you want to give me regarding my writing in this post, please feel free to let me know in the comments down below! Any feedback is much appreciated as long as it's constructive! :D
As for what I'm planning on writing, next... Let's just say that they'll be a couple of things I've been planning on doing ever since I've joined this site and gotten more confident with writing them down. It'll be a bit...different compared to my usual content, but hopefully, they'll still be enjoyable! ;)
