I drew this at work one day to display, desperately trying to get more work.
Surprise : I got a lot of work.
Most of the work I got because of this drawing was little girls...and college-aged boys.
This is myself. xD I used a mirror, so it probably isn't the best interpretation of myself. But hey, I can't complain! It made me moneeeeey.

Honestly? It REALLY depends on your coworkers/managers/etc. I didn't like so much it after the second week. I'm not so sure why, 'cause it's not like it turned me off from drawing... But once I got to know my coworkers better, it made it a bazillion times more enjoyable. They're some of the closest friends I have now.
I am unsure of who works at Dorney. (Sometimes my coworkers commute to Dorney Park.) So, I dunno how the work environment is over there. :x
ALSO. Being a Caricature Artist is probably one of the more enjoyable jobs you can have. Second most enjoyable is Airbrush (but I forget if Dorney Park has that.) Portraits are nice, but can probably become boring after a while (and they seem to be more intense with the money-making aspect of the job.) Body Art can be fun, but Body Art usually means a lot of teenage girls, and teenage girls = Drama.
So, it's probably the whole "it's my job" monotony thing that can ruin the artist-for-hire feel. (And sometimes when you get no customers, it just REALLY sucks and you feel bummed. D:) But if the environment seems to be kosher, I do recommend it. All in all, it's an experience, and I've learned things that have improved my techniques as an artist. Also? Seeing the customer laugh and smile after your done with the drawing just makes everything worth while. :'D
xD Hope that spiel was helpful! Sorry if it seemed ADD.
